Je maudis ma nuit is my first attempt at directing a short film...
The project was inspired by a song from the belgian band Le Yéti. The song is about dreams and nightmares, and I imagined that it would take place in a lighthouse sunken deep underseas.
We shot with a Bolex 16mm camera and used stop-motion animation and amazing sets to create a nightmarish mood. The film has just been sent to the lab, we'll see the result in a few weeks!
